Hey guys my name is Amanda, I have been working with Drupal on my own for a bit over a year now so I am definitely a newbie. I have been a member here for a while but have just lurked in the shadows.
I'm not sure if I have met some of you - I was at the Design 4 Drupal camp a few months back and was at the Lullabot training here. I am also related to Jacine on here and d.o who did the Sky theme and is involved with the Skinr module...

Anyway, Hello.. I am actually really curious about all you RI Drupalers since there aren't a whole lot of web companies around RI (as far as I know), let alone ones that use Drupal. What do you guys do for work?

-Amanda

A Real Newbie

Hello Everyone,

I just started to use Drupal today, seriously. I have been designing for a while, but in the Windows world. I have been getting away from that aspect. Any tips or information that anyone could send my way to help me learn Drupal a little quicker would be appreciated.

Thanks,

The Drupal Cookbook (http://drupal.org/handbook/customization/tutorials/beginners-cookbook) is a good place to start. If you want to get more in-depth, a bit of PHP knowledge will go a long way.
