We the HKDUG group also have our representitive, Karim, at DrupalCon! Karim, it would be nice if you can give DC Paris a personal touch, and update the HKDUG group with your latest news...

Not sure about u guys, but I feel like the pace of new developments around the Drupal framework has grown really fast in the past few months! Is it just me or do you guys feel the same? There are so many great things that are maturing and changing the way people work with / use Drupal! I think it will be interesting to see the stats on growth / adoption rate of Drupal in 2009 and 2010.

Maybe it's just that you're getting more involved in the project. I think the growth rates have been pretty consistent for the past 4 years or so (and consistently huge). There's always been big surges every year in different areas. Perhaps these recent surges in usability and design will show to be bigger than normal. Only time will tell.

Yeah java.net looks to be a slightly hacked version of Drupal. Sun has been a long-time supporter of Drupal. They've donated several servers over the years. They run several properties on Drupal.
