All Drupal women are invited to join us for the inaugural Melbourne Drupalchix meetup!
Site builders, themers, content editors, project managers, community builders, plain old interested parties, whatever your role may be you are all welcome. We have an ambitious goal to find all the hidden women of Drupal to help build and strengthen the wider Melbourne Drupal community, as well as provide a forum for women to network and learn about Drupal.
This is not a replacement for the regular Melbourne meetup, instead a supplement to provide a forum for women to talk about issues and topics that interest them. Presentations will primarily be quick lightning-talk style, with a focus on participation from all attendees. Longer presentations will be kept for the regular Drupal Melbourne meetup, so we encourage participants to attend both meetups to get the best of both worlds.
-- The inaugral program --
Featured talk: Getting involved in the Drupal community (TBC)
Lightning-talk style introductions from attendees
Plus: calendar updates of interesting upcoming tech and Drupal related events - calendar submissions from participants and others welcome.
