Social events at DrupalCon Sydney

We've just published a page listing planned social activities for DrupalCon Sydney at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/social-activities

This kicks off on Wednesday afternoon at 4pm with casual drinks following the Drupal Business Day and training at the Oceans Bar in the Crowne Plaza hotel, and is open to all conference attendees.

Thursday will see a game of beach cricket following the final sessions until sunset, followed by casual drinks at the Coogee Bay Hotel beer garden. The DrupalChix will also be having a separate dinner Thursday night.

Friday has the legendary Drupal Trivia night taking place at the Beach Palace Hotel, a 5 minute walk from the conference venue, and hosted by one of DrupalCon's prominent international visitors.

We've also opened up a page to register for the Drupal Code Sprint, being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel all day Saturday February 9. The code sprint is open and free for anyone (even if you didn't attend DrupalCon) to contribute to the development of Drupal 8, with mentoring by some of the world's leading Drupal contributors, including Dries himself.

For anyone new to code sprints, there'll be a "Get Involved with Core" training session on Saturday morning. Lunch will be provided at the Code Sprint, so please register at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/webform/code-sprint so we have an idea of numbers for catering.
