The name of the Storm set of modules has now changed name to Project Management.
(You've probably heard about this already: http://groups.drupal.org/node/279238).
Thanks to everyone who has commented on the several issues / threads about this, and commented on my blog about the change (and about how we should have done this earlier!)
One of the remaining "assets" of the Storm set of modules was this group.
The group was very useful for:
- Having another place for users to start a discussion (where perhaps, they are more comfortable than the issues queue)
- Less technical, more direction setting discussions
- A chance for users to subscribe to discussions without receiving notifications of every single change that is made in the module
It doesn't make sense to call this "Storm" anymore, but there is also an existing group called "Project Management" that discusses more general methods for project management, which I don't think would welcome a lot of module specific discussions (cross posted for this discussion, for further feedback).
Question: Where do you think is best on http://groups.drupal.org to continue the discussions?

What about just "PM" (although this may get confused with DRUSH stuff).
or maybe some /slash-dash combo like...
"P-mgnt"; "Proj/ Mgnt"; "P-MAN"; "Pro/M"; "P-M"; "P/M"; etc...
I kind of like "WBS" myself, because when managing projects I think in terms of work breakdown structures which I think was the basis of design for "STORM/PM" module. However, when thinking in terms of "Agile-PM", a modified "PM-STORM" structure is sometimes useful, depending on project size, duration, etc.
"PMI" is an acronym recognized by some industry sectors as an 'official' "PM" certification
Some grouping of characters " d(^_^)b " might be too dreamy/boring to remember.
Googling "Drupal Storm" gives me http://drupal.org/project/storm as #1 option..
Googling "Drupal PM" gets me no where close to http://drupal.org/project/pm , but will improve as D7 module is readied for release.
or maybe something very verbose like "PMM - The Project Management Module"; "DPM-Drupal Project Management" module; etc..

To clarify, I think we're settled on pm / Project Management as the short and long names for the project itself.
For this Drupal Group, I like the idea of calling it "Project Management Module", as it is clear (and the word module is a descriptive way of differentiating from the existing Project Management group).
Google Rankings:
I confirmed your observation that the Project Management module project page doesn't appear as high as the old Storm one. However, I'm not concerned by this at the moment - as you say, this will naturally improve as we start to point towards the new page more often.
Whilst I don't have data on the drupal.org pages, I have Google Analytics running on the demo site. Traffic has been rising steadily week on week, which implies that indexes are being updated and visitors are coming. I deliberately don't want to do more "marketing" of the module right now until the port to Drupal 7 is nearing completion.

The Project Management Module group
Yes - the name change (both long and short) for the module was settled. I posted my thoughts to help move discussion along for the changing the name of the Storm Drupal Group.
I think changing this group name to the "Project Management Module" group works well.
This is really confusing...
Are you trying to change the name of the Project Management Group on g.d.o, or the group associated with your module?
Either way, this is showing up in this group: http://groups.drupal.org/project-management, and we are not contemplating a name change right now.
I can see the value in tagging your posts so they show up in the project management group, but can you please be clearer in your topic suggestions so we can avoid confusion?

I've revised the title to make it clear that this name change would be for the Storm group only.
Deliberately cross posted (this post only) to the Project Management group, as thought you may have views on getting a clear name that didn't clash with the Project Management group itself.
