I have learned a great deal recently about implementing advanced search in Drupal using a combination of modules. These include, in part:
- Search API
- Search API Solr
- Facet API
- Facet API Pretty Paths
- Search API Saved Searches
- Views
- Viewfield
- Page Manager
- Taxonomy
With these and other modules I have established a robust design pattern for implementing advanced search features in Drupal. The attached screen capture gives a sense of the pattern.

If there is sufficient interest, I will be happy to prepare a presentation and chair a seminar on this topic at a future Seacoast meetup in Portsmouth.
