Apologies for the last-minute notification (you know: Drupalcon) but this morning -- Wednesday, May 22 -- at Drupalcon Portland, there will be a BOF on using Drupal for social change, advocacy and nonprofits.
10:45 AM in Room A107.
If you weren't able to make it or saw the announcement too late, please join this group if you haven't already for future announcements of advocacy/nonprofit/social change-related Drupal events. For instance, we have monthly free conference calls on just this topic.
Feel free to comment on this event if you have other ideas, thoughts, or resources to offer as well.

Thanks for setting up the BOF. Great to get the NPO folks in the same room to hear what's on people's minds. Just wanted to further my introduction and say that I am always looking for designers and freelance Drupal builders/developers or any of the former working for an agency that serves other agencies.
I'm the founder and partner at Capellic.com, a small agency that services non-profits. We do discovery, design, build, hosting, and care & feeding. Our clients include Lambda Legal (www.lambdalegal.org), UNICEF Canada (www.unicef.ca), San Francisco Food Bank (www.sffoodbank.org), San Francisco Environment (http://www.sfenvironment.org) and more.
Best,
Stephen Musgrave
