Good morning! I wanted to let everyone know about our upcoming Drupal Association Global Training Day class with our volunteer trainer, Steve Kessler. On June 14th, Steve will offer Introduction to Drupa at Teaming For Technology Coloradol, which will cover a basic Drupal install, as well as a look at several useful modules and strategies for designing a new site.

Introduction to Drupal

In this session we will cover what Drupal is and how to install it.

Key topics include:

  • What is Drupal
  • What is the Drupal community
  • Why use Drupal
  • Installing Drupal
  • Installing contributed modules to Drupal
  • Key tasks

As was the case with our last Global Training Day class, Introduction to Drupal might seem a bit basic for some of you on this list, but if you know of people who are looking to get a taste of Drupal and what it can do for them, please pass on the information provided below.

All classes are just $10 for nonprofit staff and volunteers and $30 for for-profit staff. This month's class will be taught by Steve Kessler, the Denver DataMan and long-time volunteer with T4T Colorado. You can register by visiting our online calendar.

This session is part of the Drupal Association Global Training Day but you do not need to know anything about Drupal to attend.

Don't forget, Teaming For Technology's full training calendar is always available online.

Edit: My apologies. I mistakenly posted that the class was being held on Friday, June 15th. It will be held on Friday, June 14th. I apologize for the confusion.
