How to change git committer name and email ?

[12:25] there's no way to change after the fact

[12:29] in fact , it's one of the biggest strength of git
[12:29] the commit hash is a hash of a lot of things
[12:30] and if you know the commit hash, there's no way to touch the code , the authors, the message
[12:30] this is why you can host code on drupal.org or github
[12:30] and not be worried what the host does
[12:31] @chx I am in a bit trouble.My senior told me to change the git commit username with our username but I did the commits bymistake using my id .Can you suggest he how to resolve this trouble
