Hi everyone,
Thank you to Kim Pepper and Christian Biggins for organizing last week’s meetup as well as Marien Zwart for hosting us at Google.
Now it’s time to get the ball rolling for next month’s meetup that will be on 19 Sept, where the topic is theming.
We are looking for people to a talk about anything to do with Drupal theming.
Some examples include:
- Any theme(s), module(s) (such as panels, display suite, skinr,) or any other front-end technology. (such as jQuery, SASS/Compass)
- How do you pick a theme: from scratch, do you use a basetheme, contrib or does it depend on the project?
- Responsive design: discuss theme(s), module(s), tool(s) or any other front-end technologies you use to make a responsive site.
- How to change the output of template files e.g preprocess & process functions, overriding templates.
- Theming in D8. It might be worthwhile to give a brief talk about D8 initiatives like Mobile, Twig, & HTML5.
First time presenters and newbies are welcome. If there is something you always wanted to know about theming, why not check it out and share it with the rest of the community!
If you want to give a talk for Sept’s meetup, please contact Magda mmkostrzewa@gmail.com.
Happy theming ;)
Robyn & Magda
