I'd like to announce the creation of the British English translation team on localize.drupal.org! Members... you, hopefully!
After being asked to stop Ubercart talking about 'checks', I decided the proper way to deal with this was to get a translation, rather than fiddle with string overrides on every site.
There's a translation of Ubercart already in the works (here: http://drupal.org/node/615652) but if there any other modules that could do with a few strings de-Americanifying, hop in :)
I'm not sure whether we should translate core -- is it worth if for what I am guessing is mostly instances of 'color'?

Yay! Good job joachim!
Yay! Good job joachim! Seems mad that there's not been a push to get en-gb in there before but at least there is now! Will help where I can...
It should just be called
It should just be called the English translation team; as English originated from Britain, and we have the correct spelling, the other version should be called American English. :s
