Drupalcon Europe 2010 em Copenhaga, se queremos ter hipóteses de disputar 2012, temos que nos organizar.

host the Drupalcon Europe 2010. If we want to have a shot of bidding for a Drupalcon Lisbon 2012 we have to organize.

Eu sei, por isso comecei por sugerir o fim-de-semana seguinte, dia 12, mais concretamente. Mas houve sugestões para o dia 5 e na poll (que vale o que vale, mas se ninguém mais se manifesta, é o único rationale) foi
o dia 5 que ganhou.

É bom que que nos envolvamos todos na promoção do Drupal. Estamos no princípio e é é sempre difícil começar.A inércia é um
princípio universal. Mas depois de colocarmos a coisa em movimento ela também nos favorece, porque depois é só ir dando
pequenos impulsos para que ela acelere a realizemos o Drupalcamp em 2010 e disputemos o Drupalcon de 2012.

Era eu e outro user (penso que o "benone", ele depois confirma...) sentados na esplanada da cinemateca a falar sobre o que fazemos com o drupal.
O meu amigo não pode ir e pelos vistos mais ninguém pode...
Note-se que o benone é polaco, por isso foi um meeting internacional de alto nível!
A ver se em Janeiro nos organizamos como deve de ser. Este encontro foi decidido demasiado em cima. Enfim... para a próxima será melhor.
Acho que não podemos estar espalhados por tantos sítios, compreendo que haja preferências por um lado ou por outro, mas na minha opinião, não se consegue combinar nada de jeito, quando se tem 4 sítios onde definir as coisas.
Para a próxima tambem imprimo um drupalicon grande para por na mesa, porque estivemos um quarto de hora sentados em mesas diferentes...

We have to decide, where the discussions and event preparations take place, if we want to organize anything concrete.
I was there.
Estive lá desde das 15h30 até às 17h30. Mas dentro numa mesa para quatro pessoas junto à janela.
Não me ocorreu ir à esplanada, porque pensei que em termos lógicos o interior tendo a luz controlada era melhor, e que
tal como sucedeu em Outubro a conversa se prolonga-se até às 17h e depois, teriamos que passar para dentro porque
não há luz na rua.
Perscrutei os laptops lá dentro na busca de um menú Drupal ou um favicon com o Druplicon. Mas nada. Era só coisas
com o Word ou folhas de cálculo.
Foi aborrecido. Principalmente para quem veio de fora. Sobretudo porque apenas uns quantos metros nos separavam :(
De facto foi demasiado em cima da hora. Tem que ser com mais tempo e tem que haver mais gente a participar no processo.
Está aqui aberto para quem quiser.
Acho que o grupo deve ser o ponto de encontro. Porque é aqui que estão os outros drupalers e
é aqui que podemos alavancar a coisa a nosso favor.
I was there from 15h30 to 17h30. But inside in a table for four by the window. I didn't occur me to go outside
to the esplanade, I reasoned that inside was better because of the controlled light and also that probably the talk would extend
after 17h and since there's no light in the outside we'll be better by staying in a single place instead of having to come inside when the
night comes.
I browsed the laptops inside looking for a Drupal menu or a favicon with a Druplicon but I could only find Word documents and spreadsheets.
It was a nuisance specially for someone coming from outside Lisbon. Moreover we were only a few meters apart :(
Yes, you're right it was in a too short notice. We need at least a week and also to get more people involved in the process. It's here and
open for everyone.
I think that the group is the natural place to be, since this is where the other drupalers are and where we can leverage things in a way that
is favourable to our goal.
Tambem começei por estar lá
Tambem começei por estar lá dentro, o benone tambem, quando acabamos por sair na mesma altura, era 16h30 acabamos por quebrar o gelo, já no fim dos 39 degraus. Começamos a falar e voltamos a subir, nessa altura a esplanada pareceu mais sossegada para se poder fala e realmente decidimos ir embora quando começou a ficar escuro e mais frio :)
De qualquer forma não ia com expectativas elevadas, não fiquei desapontado e na próxima reunião lá estarei!
É como digo, para a próxima drupalicon, de preferência com volume e com luzes a piscar, em cima da mesa!

We started inside, we both decided to leave around 16h30, and only started to talk at the bottom of the stairwell. Went back upstairs, and decided to stay outside.
I wasn't disappointed, and I'll be attending the next meeting.
Next time we'll have a 3d drupalicon with flashing blue lights on the tabletop.

Am sittin here now with black cat on my knees, just come back from Internacionale Drupal Meeetup in Lisbon with Jolidog. :)
Big thanks to Jolidog , he came , coz without him , the meeting could be not Portugese, but Polish ;), or even there would no meeting, coz minimum 2 ppl are needed to get a meetup! :)
Anyway, was nice to talk to you, hope we will meet again soon.

The banner next to the table is a good idea, we were sittin and thats all. I was observing laptop screens to find out where the DROP appears, but nowhere.. :(
