Just letting you know that I have created listings for the event on ADN, Alaska Dispatch and the Anchorage Press. I'll be making a flier this to post around UAA, Middle Way, and other places this weekend.
If you know of a place I have forgotten, please let me know. If you want to make a flier for me, well, then I'd buy you a drink at the very least!

Dec 18th Meeting
KC, if you get a flier, please email me an electronic copy and I will pass it around to some of the webmasters here at the state to see if there is any interest.
Also, just my two cents, but it might be worth it to post an agenda for the meeting too, so that it gives visitors an idea of what the meeting is about rather than a generic, come see how to build a website. This will also give them a timeline of sorts.
Another issue to address would be parking. Since the location is downtown and the meeting is afterhours, would help to mention that all parking meters on the street are free, so parking shouldn't be an issue.
I am looking forward to this meeting after a long break and now that I know a little bit more about web design and HTML :)

Thanks so much for the feedback and I am so glad you'll be able to join us! I'll get with the person doing the presentation and add an agenda to our website, and I'll add the parking to the places I can right now!
I'm working on the flier tonight, so I will try to post it tomorrow morning on the site. I'll email it to you directly as well.
