The next DrupalACT meeting will be held at 6pm on Tuesday, 28th January 2014. Come along to meet other Drupal people, share your skills and experience, and maybe learn something new!
This month, with DrupalSouth just around the corner we’re keeping it light with a session of small lightning talks on a variety of topics. So far, we have the following planned:
- Sunny Yiu - RC4 email module and drupal.org module application process
- Josh Li - Native app VS mobile website
- Adam Malone - Caching with AWS
If you have had a recent Drupal win, want to share your knowledge about something you learned or simply want to stand up and talk about something for a few minutes then message us and we’ll add you to the list. Alternatively, rock up on the day and let us know you want some time.
These lightning talks don’t have to be complex, nor in any way in depth. There’s a high chance that everyone in the group has something to talk about that many won’t know so it’s a great opportunity to share knowledge.
Similar to previous meetups, pizza and drinks will be provided and there will be drinks afterwards so if you don’t get a chance to talk at the session, there’ll be plenty of time to talk at the pub afterwards.
When: The talks will start at 6.15pm, Arrive at 6pm to talk/meet up. Tuesday, 28th January 2014 (please be on time) Where: Level 1, 212 Northbourne Avenue, Braddon, ACT, 2612 (DATACOM) http://goo.gl/maps/pGiWl
The meetup will be on level 1 so come straight up. If you’re having trouble finding the building or getting in, please call 0430 365 015 and someone will come find you.

Session summary
We had a great session with some cool lightning talks which generated a lot of discussion and further sharing of ideas. Additionally, the pizza provided by DATACOM was delicious so thanks for that Josh!
