Reset the Net is a global movement to take our privacy back and secure the Internet to defend against mass government surveillance organized by Fight for the Future, the same folks behind The Day We Fight Back, an effort earlier this year that Drupal.org joined in promoting.

On June 5, individuals and organizations around the world will launch a campaign to promote the use of NSA-resistant tools to people who are unfamiliar with privacy options, and encourage websites to build security and privacy into their systems.

Prominent supporters include the EFF, the Free Software Foundation, Reddit, Namecheap, DuckDuckGo, Mozilla/Firefox, ACLU, imgur, Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Access, MoveOn, Disconnect, Free Press, Piwik, the Pirate Party and CREDO.

Join the #ResetTheNet launch on June 5.

Add a #ResetTheNet splash screen to your website on June 5.
