The Drupal Dinner is an informal meeting at a restaurant in Indianapolis for Drupal users to get together, share ideas, and network. This month's Drupal Dinner will be at Bourbon Street (click here for information and reviews)
Since we didn't hear many suggestions for our meetup, I've chosen one of my favorite places :) Bourbon Street is a local restaurant that serves great pub food, and sometimes has live music. They have pretty standard prices for entrees (You can get burgers and sandwiches for under $10 - entrees a little more). It is on a star intersection, so there is a lot of free street side parking available. Good atmosphere for socializing. If the numbers are enough, we will reserve a table upstairs. We will post any updates on this dinner here.
Please RSVP by January 19th. It's my birthday wish that you all show up ;)
I will bring cheat sheets (Forms Reference and Common Hooks and Functions) by Palantir for any who want it.
If you have ideas for the next Drupal Dinner, please contact Dudenhofer

Thnx 2 DUDE for keeping things going!
Let's get together and make it happen. There are many faces that have graced our presence over the 2 years of the group. Maybe we will see some of them there? huh? just maybe? :-)

Yeah, it'll be good to see everyone again. Thanks Doug :) Although you've posted way more information than what I would like to know about you, ha ha. Nice google number, props!
Alright, I've made
Alright, I've made reservations to accomodate for RSVP's here and Meetup.com I'll be checking the #'s again next week before the event, so don't think it's too late.
My good friend will be taking care of us, she put in our reservation and will be preparing for us, so that should make for a smoother meetup as well :)
Thanks to all who have signed up!
I had a great time
Thank you to Doug Vann for introducing me to the Indy Drupal group. I think I overheard him talking about being from Indiana at Ohio Linux Fest last fall but spaced it on searching for the group when I got back to Indy.
I had a great time tonight and look forward to attending future Indy Drupal meetings.
I'm involved with a couple 501(c)(3) groups, the Central Indiana Linux Users Group (http://www.cinlug.org) and Software in the Public Interest (http://www.spi-inc.org). Drupal is an associated project of SPI. I know they do most of their non-profit stuff through the Drupal Association but they've expressed interest in the past about utilizing their SPI relationship for US based stuff. Either CINLUG or SPI could probably help us obtain meeting space at most of the IMCPL libraries (I think the downtown branch has some special rules).
Good News.
Thanks Michael!
This is good news indeed!
Something that Kevin and I discussed in length was what can we do to get together more often and where would we do it.
I'll get the details from the library and pass them in here.
It's not a given that we want the library, but it was discussed.
We'll have to start a new thread and get this discussion going.

You are correct, sir!
Thanks for the welcome. I wear a lot of FOSS hats included CINLUG, Ubuntu LoCo, Debian, SPI, Gallery...
Looking forward to expanding my Drupal knowledge.
