This one will be held on the UW-Madison campus.

The focus on this meeting will be those that are new to drupal and want a hand with getting started or help with some beginner level help

Social meetups in the evening?
Hey, do you still do social meetups in the evening? It'd be great to connect with the Drupal community in Madison more often, but the meetups during the day are hard to make it to. But I haven't heard about an evening meetup in a while...
Evenings work best for me
Yeah, evenings work best for me, too. It's hard to get to UW-Madison campus during the day unless you work there. ...which is not a problem for those who work there, and in fact a nice convenience. But maybe we could mix it up a bit and throw in some evening times that would be easier for non-UW employees to attend. I think the variety would be nice. I'm up for an evening meetup. Just say when.
As for the 13th... That happens to be our 20th wedding anniversary. Next time!

Right on! The more options the better! I like both daytime and evening, on-campus and off-campus. It's nice to mix it up. The more, the merrier. Can't have too much Drupal time.

Good suggestion, Dave. An evening time for meetups in general -- not just social events -- would help non-edu folks, such as myself, attend. I'd offer to talk about headless Drupal if there's interest.

What Nate and I would be suggesting is to have the meetings held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
* One month during the day on UW-campus or in the vicinity.
* Next month after hours
So, I started August as on campus.
In theory then, September 10th will be off campus after hours....

What time are you considering the after hours? I'd like to make the drive up to Madison and join in on a meetup!

I was thinking 6:30 for the after hours meetups. But if others have opinions, please throw it out there....
Location
The meeting will be held in the chemistry department room 1381. It's on the 1st floor of the the chemistry building. It's a computer lab, so hopefully that should be helpful.
I'll be trying to move the location around, but for now Chemistry will work fine.

If we want to rotate through different campus buildings, I can secure a room/lab in Van Hise Hall for future meetings.

I can get a room in 780 Regent, too. Primary advantage is free parking (for up to 2hrs).
