I kind of like the Drupal 'current affairs' format. I'd like to talk about DrupalHagen, specifically the Driesnote and D8 b1.

I also have a quick bit of code that I can go over for renaming uploaded files in forms. I found the docs a bit confusing and it took me a while to sort it out. Planning on contributing it back and some initial review might help. It would only be about 15 minutes.
transliteration?
Assuming you tried the transliteration module? Not obvious from it's name, but it can do some excellent file renaming. I used it for example to rename file uploads to match a related node title.

Very cool! No I didn't because it's not obvious from it's name that it can do that, and nothing in my searches lead me to that. I'll research it up though and add it in if there's interest. Thanks for the tip!
