I would love to see some Denver and Boulder area techies rally on Saturday in support of Haiti's relief efforts, to coordinate with the CrisisCamp efforts of DC and Silicon Valley:
DC: http://crisiscamphaitiwdc.eventbrite.com/
SV: http://crisiscamphaitisiliconvalley.eventbrite.com/
Snipped from the event sites:
"This Saturday, CrisisCamp will bring together volunteers to collaborate on technology projects which aim to assist in Haiti's relief efforts by providing data, information, maps and technical assistance to NGOs, relief agencies and the public.
This event is free and open to the public. You don't have to be technical to volunteer time."
Alas, I am obligated to another engagement Saturday and cannot attend or organize, but I'd love to help between now and then, and also next week. I can probably help find a free place to hold the event, as long as it's 50 people or fewer. (Open Media Foundation and T4T folks, thinking of you!) And I can help with general webbish and nerdish work as well. Any interest?
