I am facing a simple and strange error in my localhost (Xampp). When i try to start the apache engine i got the follwing error message.
Error Message:

I have Windows 7 64 bit. I use XAMPP version 3.2.1073807364
I have changed the apache port from 80 to 81 and Listen from 443 to 7331 but still the error exists.
Do anyone have the idea about this blocker..?

Change the Skype port
May be this is because of the skype using the same port.Just go to tools=>Connection and deselect the checkbox of using port 443 and 80.
And change the port number then restart the apache

Thaanks for the reply but i have already did that. Still the same issue exists. I think the issue exists for some other reason. Shouls reinstall XAMPP.?

You should try to check the port
Yhis is related to the port blocking that is used by apache service.
Use done these steps.
Open sktype go to tools and then go to connections.
Change the port no.
Deselect the checkbox using port 80 443.
Then quit the xampp
Restart it again.
Also revert the port no. that you have changed in apache config file before
Hope this will work otherwise reinstall it
WAMP solved the Issue
I was not able spend more time on this. So i have downloaded (http://www.wampserver.com/en/#wampserver-64-bits-php-5-5).

It stopped a number of services actually.
Then wrote localhost , Apache is up and running on port 80.

Important: Skype uses port 80 by default, you can change this in skype options > advanced > connection - and uncheck "use port 80"
