If you are interested in sprinting on Sunday, do you plan to attend at 9? Last year, Sunday morning was very slow and the person who's in charge of the space wants to know when he needs to be there.

How to Prepare
If you plan on contributing, having a Development environment on your laptop is a good way to begin. This way you can run the latest version of Drupal 8, and test out patches against it.
Follow the instructions here about getting this working before you come in to sprint. (https://www.drupal.org/dev-env) These instructions include installing other tools like an IRC client so you can talk with all the sprinters around the world, and Dreditor, which greatly improves the patch review process.
A local Dev environment is not absolutely necessary to test out patches. Simplytest.me is a tool that can be used when participants want to test a patch, or reproduce an issue but they do not have a local *AMP stack.

For those who might be interested in contrib, I'll be leading a ctools and panels sprint. We've been making progress on new releases of each, and could use helping hands! So if you're working in D7 and want to help test patches, let me know!
