Representing India at Drupal Association At-large Board Elections

A few weeks back Drupal Association announced the Elections for it’s Director-At-Large position. The At-large Director position is specifically designed to ensure community representation on the Drupal Association board. I strongly feel there should be a representation from India. Drupal Indian communities have seen tremendous growth in recent years, be it adopting Drupal by Enterprises, conducting successful Drupal Camps, Organizing Training Days, Conducting Code Sprints or taking initiatives to make Drupal Indian community flourish. Credit goes to regional community leads. It is their vision, initiatives and leadership that is driving Drupal indian community to the path of success.

I feel we have come a long way and there is still a lot to accomplish. With this in mind, i have taken an initiative to represent India at Drupal Association. I am contesting for board election on behalf of all great Drupalers and community leads from India. Frankly, writing up my nomination was a little uncomfortable as i feel there are other community leaders who have played a very significant role in building great Drupal community India. By contesting in this election, i am taking an initiative to work together with all community leads from different regions, take their initiatives and actions to the Global Drupal Space. I am sure together we can take Drupal to a new heights. Through this forum i am reaching out to all Drupalers and community leads to seek their support .

How to Vote

Who can vote?

Anyone with an account on Drupal.org (D.O)and created that account before 1 March is eligible to vote. They first need to use their D.O login details to login to https://association.drupal.org/user to be added to the electoral roll, and then they will be able to vote.

When is voting open?

Voting opens on 9 March.
Polls are open for one week and close 23:59 20 March UTC.
