I like the atmosphere at River City Brewing -- but I'd be more motivated if we had a venue where some productivity could be included.
For example, what if we had a SUG format where everybody brings their most intractable Drupal problem or challenge and throws it out there for ideas and feedback? We would need a venue where group discussion is possible -- with room for laptops and wireless internet. A projector would also be nice for occasional show-and-tell.

Very valuable
I was out of town for the day that the July meetup would take place.
On the whole, I really enjoy these meetings (even the small ones) and find them very valuable. I don't otherwise have a whole lot of opportunity to meet with Drupal folks.
I agree with Chad, though, that maybe if we had internet access, we could have a more productive meeting.

I've been busy sick and out of town off and on.
I'd like to try a different venue as well. Maybe internet access. Something where we could give a presentation/talk without competing with the resteraunt. Anyone have location ideas? A projector?

I have the projector and a portable screen.
I'm open to ideas about what we could present on. I would love to get a series going that we could video and contribute to the community. Steven, what about giving us a rundown of recent doc changes, and we could perhaps give a run down of the new Java Drupal stuff we've been working on.

I have an outline already of some stuff and hearing myself out loud would probably help refine it somewhat.
So.... where? I've not had to hunt for usable meeting space before. Hmmm... I know that SMUD has a meeting room but am not sure how one reserves it. I shall call on Monday. If anyone else has ideas I would love to hear them.

if that doesn't work out, possibly a house type space and potluck type food would work? I would consider offering mine, for a small group, but would have to check with the proper authorities (ie, housemate).
