As Drupal has become more of an enterprise development platform, interfacing with the rest of the web technology world is becoming more common and critical. In fact, Drupal 8 itself is incorporating many technologies not developed by the Drupal community.
Latest & greatest. With all of your contributions, we'll review the latest and greatest topics featured at DrupalCon LA, sharing all of our opinions on it: "Go", "No Go", or "I'll Wait".
Most of Monarch Digital will be at DrupalCon. At our next meeting, we'll be reporting on the best from DrupalCon LA. If you're going, please plan on sharing also.
Theming. The Drupal 8 theming layer is completely different and based upon TWIG. We'll overview the differences in theming in Drupal 7 and Drupal 8. See how you would actually develop a theme in Drupal 8.
Real life conversions. Have you converted a site to Drupal 8 yet? Share your experiences.
War stories. If we have time, we can share some stories from the field on technical anomalies we (all) have recently encountered. "I just entered some new content to the body of my page and now it white screens!"
Time and location. We have all been enjoying the great meeting rooms and great internet connectivity of the 21st Century Library. You'll see that this meeting is later in the month that usual. It's getting more difficult to find available rooms as the community discovers this great facility.
