Hi,

solution>

My final setup looks like this:

[group:author:name],

[account:name] requests membership for group '[group:title]' in [group:url].

To activate this user, make sure you have logged in here: [site:login-url]

and then click the link below:

[group:url]#overlay=group/node/[group:nid]/admin/people&overlay-context=content/[group:group-group]

[og_membership:og-membership-request]

This takes the user straight to the page where they can activate the user.

/solution>

I'm stumbling my way through an Organic Groups setup using Drupal 7, OG 2.7 and Rules 2.9.

When a user requests to join a group, the resulting email sent to the group manager looks like this:

[group:author:name],

[account:name] requests membership for group '[group:title]' in [group:url].

However, [group:url] takes the manager to the group 'front page'. To activate the subscription, the manager has to then go to the 'Group' tab, then click the 'People' link, then activate the new user.

How can I construct a link that goes straight to the page where the manager can activate the new user?

I've tried all the following but nothing works:

[group:url][group:og-group-ref--og-membership--2]

[group:url][group:og-group-ref]

[group:url][group:og-group-ref--og-membership]

[group:url][group:members]

[group:url][group:group-group][group:members]

[group:url][account:og_user_node]

[group:url][account:og-user-node--og-membership]

[group:url][account:og-membership]

[group:url][site:og-context--node][group:og-membership]

Thanks :-)

OG case study

gDrup's picture

Hi,
I have a drupal 7 site and this need:
A series of library services subscriptions dedicated to user. The site user could be only autenticated user or could be autenticated library user.
Roles can not be suitable because this kind of solution does not let you to choose more than one role.
A user could be subscribed to one service but not to all or only to three and so on.
I have used OG as my tool.
Groups are librarian services and user subsribe to them and take access to dedicated pages.
Here the great problem.
To become use you have to compile a dedicated form.
I installed profile2 to have different form for different services.
Now I can not achive this result:
When a user click on request group membership, I sould like to present a profile2 form and only if it is correctly filled, I would like to perform the request.
Another issue is that on the user account i would like to show only the profile of groups/services the user is joined to.
How can I make all these tasks correctly?
Thanks for your help
