Meet and Greet
The first half hour of the meetup will be a Meet and Greet. Allowing time for the group to arrive, have some pizza and socialize.
Themed Lightning Talks
This month we will again be featuring themed lightning talks. Volunteers will get up to 5 - 10 minutes to present a lightning talk on the following themes.
"Drupal Resolutions"
With the new year comes resolutions to improve ourselves. How can we help ourselves and others reach their Drupal resolutions? Tell the group about something new you want to learn/build in Drupal and why. Demonstrate a tool/resource that can be used to improve working with Drupal. Outline how others can use the Drupal community to help them improve.
"Sprint Tips"
The Drupal Global Sprint Weekend is happening on January 30th and 31st. To help get people prepared, what are some tips you have about how to participate in a sprint? Tips for non-developers? Environment setup tips? How to follow an issue queue?

General Lightning Talks
Along with our themed presentations we will have a call for general lightning talks. This is an open floor to ask questions, present recent work or lead other Drupal discussions. No preparation is required.
Parking and Transportation
The Genuine office is accessible by many means of public transportation.
- A 10 minute walk from the Broadway T stop on the Red Line.
- A 10 minute walk from Tufts Medical on the Orange Line.
- A 5 minute walk from the Silver Line (SL4 or SL5) Bus stop East Berkley st @ Washington st.
On-street parking (free & metered) may be available on many surrounding streets including Harrison Ave, Randolph Street and Washington Street. Parking lots are also available for $7 per car.

suggested theme: maintaining Drupal
I would like to suggest a theme for lightning talks, either at the January meetup or a later one. I know lots of ways to install Drupal quickly and easily, but I would like to get ideas on maintaining a Drupal site: backing up, upgrading contrib modules, etc.
Lightning talk: fun with shell scripts
How bad does a repetitive task have to be before you do something about it? I would like to show off two shell scripts that I have written to make my work a little easier. One of them also reduces typos in my git log: easier and more reliable!
One script falls under the "Sprint Tips" theme. I may have presented it previously. The other one could go under either the "Drupal Resolutions" theme or my suggested "Maintaining Drupal Sites" theme.
