So it's 2 months until DrupalCon SF! There's been a little talk of what's fun to do in San Francisco at the conference website here: http://sf2010.drupal.org/forum/22/activities-spouse-partner-gfbf-parents...
Who's coming? Where are you staying? When will you be there? What do you want to do?
I think I'll be there April 17 to 24. Must do things for me are lunch in Chinatown, Alcatraz, and walking over the Golden Gate Bridge. We're hoping to go to a baseball game as well.
I'm not going to try to organize the Drupalgangers much this time. Hopefully we can meet at the venue each morning and people can break into groups as they desire. I'll let you know if I decide to book something in advance so you can think about coming along if it sounds fun to you. I'd love to hear if you do so as well.

Hey all, We're flying over on

Hey all,

We're flying over on 17th and will be in SF until 24th. After that we're going to be wandering through California visiting various people. Think Stella has booked us into one of the conference hotels but I don't know which one.

As for things to do, the Presidio is nice for a stroll around as is Berkeley if people don't mind getting the BART over. Is anyone else interested in a trip up to Napa and/or Sonoma for wine tasting? Won't be as nice as the French stuff but then again, what is? All of Amy's suggestions are good too.

Looking forward to catching up with you guys again.

Hi Drupalgängers from all over the world !

I will stay in California for 2 weeks (April 18th till May 2nd). My must-see list includes a visit of San Francisco and its neighboorhood (a day in Napa/Sonoma, Berkeley, Oakland maybe), then visit Monterey, Carmel and the Yosemite Park during the second week.

As for San Francisco, I'd like to see Union Square, Castro, Chinatown, Telegraph Hill and Coit Tower, Alcatraz, Pacific Heights, Haight, Nob Hill by cable car, North Beach, Russian Hill, and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge. My guidebook also recommands riding across the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County and having lunch in Sausalito.

I don't know yet where we will stay. The Commerce Guys are looking for a flat to share in SF. But if it doesn't work out, Damien and I will probably stay at the Park 55.

I'm now counting the days till this great event !
