Learning objectives for the training program

By the completion of the course, we expect, the trainee should be capable of developing a website using Drupal, in a standardized, version controlled way. The course content has been prepared in a way to ensure all these points to be covered.

Objectives

  • The trainees should be comfortable in working in a GNU/Linux environment.
  • The trainees should understand the concept of Version Control System and should be familiar with GIT.
  • The trainees should understand basic web application concepts.
  • The trainees should learn and understand the architecture of Drupal.
  • The trainee should learn how to build Drupal based web applications using contributed modules.
  • The trainees should learn how to extend Drupal by building modules
  • The trainees should learn how to build a theme in Drupal
  • The trainees should learn how to debug Drupal application.
  • The trainees should be able to handle simple to complex websites, ranging from normal websites, to huge web applications using Drupal.
  • The trainees should be able to develop Drupal theme completely from png.
  • The trainees should be able to developing websites/ web applications as secured and good in performance.
