Time for next SCDUG on Tuesday Dec 5th at 7pm.
I suggest that the December Drupal meetup we join the Amazon Office Hours event. We can learn about their offerings, etc.

Personally, I am going to try and attend it if the group wants to join them...
Alternately, I can leave the meeting to come back and open the doors, but I will be back closer to 7.

I have only a casual interest in AWS at the moment. I'd rather have a Drupal meeting.

AWS
We typically only use AWS as part of Acquia hosting so I'm not that interested in learning more about AWS at the moment (though not strongly opposed either).
So... with those who have commented, it sounds like a regular Drupal meeting is the preference. Sounds like we can still do this but start no earlier 7pm. For those who sometimes get there "early", just keep that in mind. That is not usually the case for me. :)
