With the switch to OOP and the inclusion of many parts of the Symfony framework, Drupal 8 has (finally) moved into the modern era of web development best practices. Together with Marc Issacson (vegantriathlete), let's have a look at how some of those best practices are being put to use within Drupal 8.
Note: This presentation is not meant to be a "sage on the stage" affair. It's meant to be a "guide on the side" interactive discussion. I'll come prepared with a presentation and interesting things to talk about. However, I'd prefer to see everybody get involved with their observations and questions. If you haven't already started digging into Drupal 8, please do so before the meeting and come ready to let us know what you think of it. Also, feel free to post your questions and suggestions for discussion ahead of time (in the comments on the post on GDO or in the Meetup event) and we'll do our best to cover them during the meeting.
