Anyone in GRUPAL working with Drupal distributions and have done any Application integration?

Hello GRupal,
I am trying to see where Drupal could be used in some of my projects and what I find it most intriguing in its distribution capability such as Open Atrium and its integration with other apps like CiviCRM. Does anyone in the group have experience or thoughts on either of these or others?

Great question, Matthew. I have only tinkered with both of these projects, but have been impressed with both of them. I haven't seen any attempts to combine Open Atrium with with CiviCRM, but I'm sure it can be done. Especially since Open Atrium is just a "distribution" of Drupal. Anybody else have any thoughts?

I had not thought of combining them was just using as examples of scenarios where Drupal has a leg up on its competitors like Wordpress which is often where I start with a web project. Interesting idea though.
