It's time to start planning for next year's event. If you'd like to join the planning committee, first make sure you're on Slack (http://slack.drupalutah.org), then join the #dcu_planning channel, and comment that you'd like to help.
Below are the volunteer positions we need to get started with the planning, we'll need at least one person for each, more are encouraged:
Venue and Date Selection: The people in charge of this will help find a place to have our event based on our estimated attendance and budget. Since we'll need to book the place, a date will need to be picked.
Sponsorship Coordination and Word of Mouth (marketing): The people in charge of this will help with spreading the word about the upcoming event. Could be done via emails, social media, meet ups, Slack, etc... Coordinating sponsorships would entail both finding sponsors but helping others find sponsors.
Content & Sessions Coordination: The people in charge of this will help with planning the schedule for the day of the event. This includes trainings, sprints, BoFs, key-note (or key-not), sessions, etc...
