call for help

I am trying to get the logo and menu for my website in a block. That way I can make it disappear on certain pages. I am using Drupal 7 with a theme called "Professional Theme"

Has anyone had any luck with this? Here is what I tried to put in the block with no apparent effect. This is basically the php from the actual page.tpl.php with an added settings reference. I saved it in a block in the php format.

Hello all!

We are looking for some help in testing out a new website product. We've created an automated process where people can sign up for a trial website. After signup a site is created. Then, the user can log in and do all the stuff we love about Drupal from a custom "Dashboard".

What we are looking for is the usual:

• identifying any bugs in the normal use of the site
• improving user experience
• flow and ease of use
• and general feedback is always welcome

So, this website (www.symbolicsilver.com) has been my latest project. I'm still tweaking things and if you have a second, I'd appreciate it if you could give me some feedback on it. I know we got such a great raise of hands fighting to build the site. To avoid anyone having it forced upon then, I am will to build it. I do feel I should clarify a few things and offer three opportunities to help without having to build the site. Opportunity 1) I am not a designer, if any one would be willing to mock up the site I will put it together.
