This month, Greg Knaddison will be giving an in depth look into testing project functionality with Behat testing. Together we’ll take a brief look into what Behat testing offers for projects, and then dig deeper into how to start writing Behat tests for your projects. This talk is meant to address any questions or confusions about Behat testing, so if there’s specific things you’d like to have covered please leave a comment below. Greg uses automated testing to help improve site reliability and reduce defects at Morris Animal Foundation, which is hiring: https://www.morrisanimalfoundation.org/careers.
Pizza and socializing starts at 6:30 p.m. Discussion and presentations start at 7. Prior to the meetup at 5:30, we'll get together for a happy hour at the Intrepid Sojourner brewing one block from the venue.
The meet-up will take place at Open Media Foundation, just south of Downtown Denver. 700 Kalamath St. Denver, CO 80204 map.
Add a comment if you have a question or want to share something! Pizza and drinks will be provided by Aten Design Group.

Hello folks!If you want,
Hello folks!
If you want, tonight's session is "play along" and I hope that folks will experiment during the presentation. If you want to get a jump start on the process, here are a few items:
mkdir simplebehatcd simplebehat/
composer global require hirak/prestissimo
vi composer.json
composer install
vi behat.yml
./bin/behat --init
vi features/simple.feature
./bin/behat -dl
./bin/behat features/simple.feature
If you do those first 3 steps it will let you get the most out of tonight's session. If you don't quite get those done...come anyway and we can work on them together :)
See you tonight!
Greg

Well Done!
Great presentation! I've never used Behat before and am not a big back end developer, but this was easy to ingest and I look forward to using Behat in the future.
