Events?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

So, I finally went and joined the meetup page. I haven't logged into that in years. I noticed that the information for the meetup in August is different than what is posted here (the location). Which one is correct?

Edit: actually, I just realized that I think the location for all of the events is different on meetup than on here.

Thanks!

Just got the welcome email. It's out of date as well:

Welcome to the Portland Drupal Users Group!

Welcome to the Portland, Oregon Drupal Users Group. We have (at least) three official meetups every month.

  1. Meetings take place every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6pm. Upcoming meeting dates and locations are:

Jan 13 - ThinkShout (433 NW 4th Ave. Ste 100)
Feb 10 - MetalToad (522 SW 5th Ave. Ste 400)
Mar 9 - Phase2 (514 NW 11th Ave. Ste 203

  1. The Drupal Front End Meetup happens every third Thursday of the month. This group is focused on the theming and design aspects of Drupal development. Come nerd out with us over CSS, Javascript, theme functions and other interesting front-end tools. This meetup is held at the Clarity Innovation offices at 1001 SE Water Avenue, Suite 400.

  2. Brewpal takes place on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5pm at a rotating location around Portland. We meet, work on our projects, and ask questions of our neighbors with no formal agenda.

No need to RSVP, the meetings are open to all.

We're also on IRC in #drupal-pdx on freenode.net

Visit https://groups.drupal.org/portland for announcements, events, and job postings for Portland Drupal users.

Welcome email... nobody has probably edited that in over a year (maybe much longer). We have not had a Frontend Meetup in quite some time.

The meetup should be at Phase2 on August 14th - a good person to ping is myself or @timhare

Cool

Cool. I'll use the info here in the Drupal Group, then, for creating the events. So that means someone should probably edit the events on Meetup so that folks aren't going to the wrong location. :)
