New place for collaboration: Builders Lounge

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

One thing we talked about at the BoF in San Francisco was the value of having a place where people could gather and work together, help and be helped. So, inspired by all of you, a few of us at UC Berkeley have started up a monthly Builders Lounge for in-person collaboration, support, and general Drupalitude.

First meeting will be Tuesday May 4 at 3:30 pm on the Berkeley campus - see the event posting for more details. I hope some of you Bay Area Drupalchix can come!

Builders Lounge DC area?

I think this is a great idea. Would anyone in NoVA, DC, or MD like to do this? I can offer a free location (in Springfield, VA). My office has a training space with wifi that we could use for a monthly get together to share knowledge, ask questions, encourage other new drupalchix to dive in?

I would definitely be interested in getting together in the Nova/DC area. I think that is a great idea.
