Personally I would recommend the pub in Leith again, apart from being relatively from the centre it was ideal in terms of noise-level and seating.

Personally i think, if we find a place, it's best to stick to it as the place for all Drupal meetup. This way it'll be easy for people to find us and join in whenever they want. Moving around each month is not ideal, imo

The LOT is run by a Christian charity - http://www.the-lot.co.uk/about-us - so do they serve alcohol? (It doesn't bother me - I'll be driving in.)

ouch, I think she was confused. there was a cancellation from another bunch apparently, but we were there a bit later on.

ouch indeed and embarrassing if I may add. I was specific when I had asked ... a "drupal user group meetup" I said.
What time did the meetup start? I was in front of the LOT till about 6:10pm. Should've stayed longer I suppose. oh well, there's next time. I'll hit the handbooks for now. 8)

I got there for about half past and when I said to the girl at the counter I was looking for Drupal people she pointed me straight at the table. But there were several members of staff there.
