As a member of the Mission Fed ecommerce team, the Web Developer is responsible for the back end coding in Drupal/PHP working with the front-end designer to maintain Mission Fed's multiple web properties.

Work with VP Ecommerce and Web Team to understand and contribute to the technical requirements of the web site, email, banner advertising and online application and technology.

Must have a broad understanding of web technologies to develop online applications, databases.

Build framework and prototypes for web pages, email campaigns and other web marketing and applications

Expert knowledge of web technologies to make informed tools and application recommendations

Integrate all MFCU offline applications and databases to create a seamless flow of data online

Manage online database development and API implementation

Work with Designer and Online Marketing to define web project scope and requirements

Work closely with IS development team to install and build online applications such as CMS,(Drupal/PHP) and to ensure seamless integration with back-end programming and systems.

Apply designs to new application development such as CRM system and mobile banking application

Ensure quality of all work, including functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions.

Participate in the Web Team and contribute to the overall development of Mission Fed's web site technologies and web marketing strategies and plans.

Perform maintenance and updates to existing web sites as required.

Manage web server including production, test and live servers.

Build and/or integrate social media applications for Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn and Facebook, or other relevant third party social media sites.

Requirements:
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field required. 2 years of equivalent experience may substitute for every 1 year of education.

Minimum of 3 years experience in professional web design, including experience using CMS systems (Drupal/PHP experience) is required.

Extensive experience with an industry standard web design and development applications.

Standards compliant hands-on knowledge of current web markup or scripting languages: HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Understanding of dynamic or active web content and the use of ASP, ASP.NET, and SQL.

High level of experience with PHP- 5, OOP, MySQL, jQuery,

Experience and understanding of site architecture, user experience.

Database Management and optimization

Management on the web, proper file formats, compression methods and techniques, etc.

Well-versed in documentation and version control standards

Experience setting up development environments

Exceptional understanding of SQL and relational database design

Ability to rapidly learn new technologies

Acute understanding of Content Management System development and/or equivalent

Open source CMS experience - CiviCRM and/or Drupal6

Audio/video Web technologies a bonus

Ability to apply a business model to a web application

Comfort with internet protocols, server configuration, and DNS

A commitment to ethics and excellence with strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization

Excellent task management skills, organizational skils, able to complete the right quality work on time and within budget

Strong team player with excellent communication skills
