Hey you, (yes, you there, sitting reading this right now)
Do you like Drupal? Do you want to contribute to the local Drupal community? Do you like configuring and theming Drupal websites? Or maybe you just want to find out more about theming and configuring a Drupal website.
What's Happening
If you said yes to any of these things, why not come down to the Centre for Social Innovation (215 Spadina Toronto Ontario) on Wednesday July 14th at 7:00pm for the Drupal Camp Toronto site code sprint.
We are getting together to develop the features and theme of the camp website.
What you'll need to bring
Yourself.
A laptop.
An eagerness to help.

Hey,
I will be there ready to help in anyway possible, probably most usefully as a developer.
Cheers,

Damn skippy, forgot about this. See you Wednesday.
Anyone else think they'll be there early?
Never been involved in a
Never been involved in a codesprint... unbelievably dumb question, but is it ALL coding, or is it worth coming if we have a significant knowledge of what's out there are how it can be config'd?
A note on what to bring
Hey folks, just a reminder that tonight is the first code sprint for the DrupalCamp TO 2010 website. We have the Sunshine room booked from 6:30pm onward, but the official start time is 7:00pm
Just a quick note on what you should bring/prepare before you attend tonight.
As Andre mentioned in the first post a laptop would be ideal if you are planning on helping out with the site. Preferably you should have a development environment already set up before we start so that there's less time needed to get people up to speed. If you need to quickly get up and running with a drupal development environment I recommend the Acquia Stack installer. They have a flavor available for Windows, Mac and Debian Linux. http://acquia.com/downloads
Additionally it would be good to get an idea when we start where peoples interests and skills are so we can divide into smaller teams after some of the initial planning is done.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight.

For those who don't have laptops but are still willing to participate; how can they be apart of the code sprint?

There should be many ways you can participate without a laptop. We can "pair program" (buddy up on a laptop) also participate in the planning discussions as just a few examples

I'm only bringing my iPad and iPhone tonight. Planning, as Arvin mentioned, with be part of tonight's work. Though a lot of IA is already taken care of thanks to other DrupalCamps, we'll still need to put thought into that and other design elements before cracking open any for loops. ;) Tonight with mobile, I'm primarily planning to work on UI elements.
Mobile site
As mentioned previously, I'm down for leading work on the mobile site. I have some blueprints in mind and look forward to working on this segment with other mobile minded Drupalists. ;)

Looks like I'll be around, so I'll come and help out.
Chris, Drupalcon SF had a pretty nice mobile site (on an iphone in any case). Not sure if you've checked it out already.

2nd Code Sprint?
Just wanted to ask if the code sprint for the Drupal camp site is still on for Wednesday ?
