Great news! DrupalDownunder have State Reps!
The idea is that each of the State Reps will be able to keep each of you more in the loop with what's happening in regards to DrupalDownunder 2011.
Specifically their role is to:
— keep you up-to-date with news regarding DDU (particularly at your local Meet-ups)
— encouraging/recommending presenters to submit a topic for presenting at DrupalDownunder
— contact/recommend any potential sponsors in each State
— become part of a national team that will continue to offer the same support for future events
— share any feedback regarding issues re:DDU
As more information becomes available we'll be posting it on the website (http://drupaldownunder.org), on here as well as tweeting but it's your State Rep that will be your touch-stone. They will have full access to all the information available and should hopefully be able to provide you with everything you need to know!
These are the people in your state:
VIC:
Brian Gilbert
Simon Hobbs
NSW:
Ryan Cross
Aimee Maree Forstrom
ACT:
Justin Freeman
WA:
Thomas Sutton
Alex Bergin
SA:
Micheal Priest
Simon Lyndsay
TAS:
Tony Miller
There is still a Call out for anyone in the Northern Territory! We'd really love to hear from anyone up there doing Drupal who would be willing to step up and be a State Rep!
Don't forget to register for the Newsletter at http://drupaldownunder.org so you can have the latest and greatest info delivered to your inbox!
Cheers,
Jeff and Sheree
