RE: Drupal Themer needed for Soundwave Festival website
I am a full time freelance Drupal themer/developer. However, I don't live in Australia. I live in Chicago in the states. Is this ok? I spent some time in Brisbane and Surfer's Paradise. I plan to go back in January and could easily fly to Soundwave. I would love to attend the festival. Maybe we can work out a trade for development in return for tickets?
Either way, I can make sure you meet the Thursday deadline.
Are you on Skype?
Theming Tasks
What theming tasks need to be done? If this is an onsite need, where are you located? Do you mean onsite in your office or do you mean at the festivals themselves?
More info
And if it's at the festival, would it be in the control booth with the sound guys, near the ticket collection or on the stage with the performers? It could get kinda noisey.
We are onsite in our office,
We are onsite in our office, not at the festival... the website doesn't run from the festival
I think the point is that you
I think the point is that you require someone on site and you haven't made it clear where your office is. You are being gently mocked for not providing enough information.
Deepend office in Melbourne is in Prahran
But I think there might be confusion over what "onsite" means above. When someone (like a Drupal freelancer, say) asks if the work required is "onsite" they mean to say "Can I work remotely from my Drupal lair or do you require me to put pants on and visit your office?".
Stop me if I'm wrong ppl.
Deepend office
Hi all, just to clear this up for everyone. We are looking for someone to work from our Prahran office for the Soundwave Festival freelance role. The office is located at Level 1, 1 Cecil Place, Prahran. So yes, we do require you to put your pants on and visit our office! Please feel free to e-mail me on kath@deepend.com.au if you have any questions whatsoever. Cheers. Kath
Pants?
Can I wear my slanket? http://www.theslanket.com
Remote Work
So no chance at all to do the work remotely? That may make things a bit harder, although I dont know how many Drupal developers in VIC that are on here...
