Anyone have personal experience with Apache Solr Search?

Hey everyone. Looking for anyone that has personal experience with setting up and/or using Apache Solr working with Drupal. Haven't dug into it much yet, but I have a site quickly growing past 100,000s of nodes that will need search and need to start planning. Anyone care to share some advice/experiences?

Hey Alex...

We've done some stuff with Solr... I can have you talk to Ken or Victor, both who primarily worked on it.

I'll email them to have them give any input they can on here...

I'm working on a Drupal site right now that uses sphinx (http://www.sphinxsearch.com/). There is a drupal module to interface with it.
