I am a keen sailor and currently working on setting up the clubs web site in drupal.
I am looking for a module that could be used for Administering Yacht and Dinghy races whilst at the same time publishing the results on the website.
If anybody is aware of a module like that that exists, then I'd be keen to hear about it.
If such a module does not exist, then I would be keen to assist to build a module. I do however not know much about building modules, so my assistance will be in testing and providing information and guidance on how various handicap systems work.

I have a pretty well-functioning site for signing up for races. I can publish a recipe if desired.
Philosophically, I have preferred to leave scoring to a local processor rather than a web server.
However, I think there is a place for what you want, however. Several folks might be willing to work on it...
Signing up
Signing up is a good start, another element is to allow online payment when signing up to help eleminate the paperwork.

Oh we got that. Using ubercart. Over $100k of signup fees through the website so far this year.

I had previously used an electronic form, embedded into drupal with an I-frame but no electronic payment sorted yet

I am currently struggling to move my site from one shared hosting provider to another, never realised it will be so difficult (Any tips will be handy)
