How to make a user role expire after 14 days?

Hi guys,

Sort of know how to do this, but looking for some help. Basically have a trial account role that I want to be able to have expire after a certain number of days (let's say 14 for now).

I have:

ON User logs in
AND Numerical comparison using [account:reg-since]? Is that going to do it for me?

DO Modify user roles (I think I can use this to remove a user's role, right?)

Probably will set this up to send the user an email at 7 days and 13 days about their trial ending, but I can worry about that later. Just curious mostly if [account:reg-since] is going to get me what I want, in a way that I can run conditions off it?

Thanks.

Is this trial role granted

Is this trial role granted when the user first creates an account? If so, then use that has a trigger to create a scheduled rule. That scheduled rule would be set to 14 days out and the action would be to remove the trial role from that user.

If the trial account is added in some other fashion then depending on what triggers that, you would use that as your trigger.

where?

where can i do a scheduled rule? i'm not seeing any option for that. is there some secondary module that i need to add on to rules to do that?

hoping this is as easy as you make it sound (i'm already using a rule to assign the role when the user makes the account), and simple scheduled rules would help me in a lot of other places too.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. Didn't have that part of the module activated. Thanks.
