I'm in Rochester Hills also. I've been making the trek to A2 for a while and can definitely say I've gotten some great info from the meetings. Maybe we could carpool down and save on gas.
I'm still quite a drupal newb and so I'd definitely be up for meeting some more drupalers in this area as well.
I am a total newbie to Drupal--using it to establish a social networking tool as part of a project I am managing for Automation Alley (I am figuring out needs and functionality--working with Open Sourcery in Portland to make the vision "real.") I wonder if we could work out meeting space at the Automation Alley office. They have space, are wireless, and are our area's counterpart to SPARK....
i'd be interested in local group too. ann arbor's not bad. with all the tech people and the university, theres probably some really talented people there.
I'd suggest Rochester library. They have a conference room and wifi. But the lady I talked to over the phone was not sure if there's signal in the conference room. Anyone has used wifi there?
