Hi all,
I'm trying to use this great module with Organic groups, which leaves me with the following question.
Is it possible to assign a role to a groupadmin that will only function in the context of that group?
Lets say a groupadmin receives a role after creation of a groupnode of a certain type.
Then he decides he wants to become a member of another groupnode of the same type he just became groupadmin of.
Now his groupadmin role of his own group shouldn't function. Instead he should receive a member role.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks

Thanks, i have been using OG
Thanks,
i have been using OG user roles and it is a great module for using permissions in groupcontext.
However the module is also very extensive.
I am pretty new to rules but if there is an alternative within rules for OG user roles it looks that Rules even can be more efficient.
I'm quite interested in a custom php rule that can give users a role only for a specific role instead of a site wide role.
I'm not aware of anyway to do
I'm not aware of anyway to do this just in rules. The OG user roles is the only module I know of that can give specific permissions within the context of a group.
I do believe, however, that organic groups for drupal 7 will contain this functionality.
