Is anyone interested in getting to together to look at the options for WYSIWYG editors? This would be a laptops-at-coffee-shop session to install and compare options for WYSIWYG and other node edit issues. This will be in Boulder at Panera Bread, 1855 29th Street (29th Street mall) on Wednesday 10/6, 6:00-9:00pm.
My todo list includes:
- evaluate wysiwyg module implementation of FCK, CK and TinyMCE editors.
- evaluate file manager integration IMCE, WebFM, ?
- evaluate image inclusion, manipulation and metadata
- features: autosave, internal linking, code quality
- ?
Post here if you need more details - Ann

I might be interested - is this a Denver area session or a Boulder area session?

Depends on where the interest
Depends on where the interest is. Any suggestions? In Boulder I was thinking Brewer's Market on Baseline or Folsom Street coffee.
A vote for Panera Bread
More space, less traffic.
On 29th Street?
or where?
One more question
Mac or PC?
All- this is to look at
All- this is to look at integrating wysiwyg editors through the browser to edit nodes. The module is http://drupal.org/project/wysiwyg and group http://groups.drupal.org/wysiwyg . A couple of the issues I need to work out are: inserting images, inserting links, autosave and creating clean code. When I tested it a couple of months ago, it was very promising, but I ended up falling back on FCK/IMCE.
Maybe
I might be interested, though probably not 3 hours of interested. @jwmci, I assume we're talking about web-based (more specifically, Drupal-based) WYSIWYG editors, so Mac and PC (and everything else).
If it ends up in Denver,
If it ends up in Denver, probably.
Interested
I probably won't be able to make either on this particular day but I would be interested in hearing about your conclusions post meeting.
If it's in Boulder
I could likely meet up somewhere in Boulder. I don't really have any preferences, all of the above mentioned places work for me.
