We haven't had a drupal meetup in perth for a few months now, and no ones mentioned anything - did everyone get scared at the last one ? (j/k)
thsutton and samhassell (the crowd from the earlyday meetups) are back from holidays now, so we should have the numbers.
To give people enough notice, we could go for an early November meetup, perhaps.
It's sometimes difficult to get a reasonable venue, and have a selection of speakers, so should we just aim for a meetup at the local watering hole (i.e. pub). I'm easy, either way, so please comment on what people would like to do.
I'm sure there's lots we can discuss, like the upcoming drupal downunder conference in Brisbane, Drupal 7 Beta 1 release, and all the projects everyones been working on the last few months.

Brand new to the Drupal way
I would like to come along to the next Perth meeting.
I've only just started with Drupal but I'm keen to expand my knowledge. I'm a software developer at a pharmaceutical company, using mainly Delphi. We'll be reorganising our IT over the next year or so, and I can see Drupal being a part of that change.
It'd be good to catch up --
