The NodeStream group is the place for general discussion and community building around the NodeStream Drupal distribution. This is also a way of making internal discussions around NodeStream within NodeOne public, to let everyone participate around NodeStream.
References roadmap
In NS 2.0-alpha3 references are made with the references suite (http://drupal.org/project/references) - It this gonna change?
This post and this issue suggests that it is going to be entityreference.
Is that a final decision? And why not relation module ? I'm sure both would work, I just wanna use the right module, when I start building things on top of NS.

NodeStream is progressing really fast right now, and we are rushing against a stable release in a very fast pace. In order to keep people up to date on the progress of NodeStream and important changes to the architecture, we decided it would be good to start post a "State of NodeStream" post every week. This is the first "state of NodeStream" post in this group, and if this works well, we will continue to post updates through this channel. If you have been working with something awesome and want to share it, or highlight an issue you have in the queue, please do so in the comments.

Hello,
I am working with an install of Nodestream (D6 version), and I am having issues with getting pagination to work. I have tried several modules, including Pagination (Node) (which I have used in the past, but NOT with Nodestream) with no success. Other modules have failed as well.
What I am looking for is:
1. Making Pagination (Node) work with character count pagination
2. Another module that will accomplish the same thing, automated paging.
My requirements are centered around automated paging, which is what the site uses 95% of the time.
Read moreHow should we deal with documentation?
Currently we have discussions regarding on how to deal with documentation. As we see it there are a few alternatives, and there are probably more that we haven't thought of. This post is hopefully the beginning of a discussion regarding how we are going to expose documentation for NodeStream.
drupal.org handbooks
Our current decision regarding documentation is to have it as handbook pages on drupal.org.
Positive
* Everyone can collaborate on the documentation
* Easy for non-technical users to contribute to the docs
Negative
* Hard to export
