Contributing to Drupal: the Issue Queues and Patching
Presenters: rerooting and rjgoldsborough
Drupal.org's "issue queues" are where you can find answers to your problems, and where Drupal is collaboratively created. Learning to navigate and use them will help you become more successful with Drupal and a member of the community.
This topic will cover, generally, Drupal's open source development process for core and contributed modules/themes, as well as best practices in the issue queues. Practically:
We'll discuss how the issue queues work:

Cleveland area drupal programmer/designer needed for non-profit projects
Hi,
I've got a non-profit organization whose websites (www.ohio-iaf.org, www.10PercentIsEnough.org) were built in drupal by a developer who is no longer working with us. I'm looking for someone familiar with drupal to help us renovate those sites and build out a few more. You can contact me at ari.lipman@ohio-iaf.org. Thanks!

Hi all. Now that CDUG (Cleveland Drupal Users Group) has had it's first meeting, I thought it might be a good idea to get an IRC channel going so we can communicate and organize easier. We could all be in one room and be able to chat instantly which I think would help the group grow quicker. Also, I think it would just be a good place to chat with fellow Drupallers from the surrounding area, because I know in my little northeast Ohioan town, there aren't many others.
Some of my ideas were #drupal-cdug, #drupal-NEO, #drupal-cleveland.

Read moreHelp with number formatting for this custom filter.
Hello group! I am stuck and wondered if there are any php wizards that can help. I have created a custom search filter, but since I had to do a couple of functions in the code to get it to work with the Drupal filter, I now do not know how to format the numbers with a comma. i.e. 300,000. Can't figure out how to format a range function???
Here is the code for how I am building the drop down select list for the price field. *Note that I attempted to use the slider_filter, but it did not work in IE. We are willing to hire for some help on that one!
